THE CALL BEHIND ONE1SIX
A calling that would not let go.
Jobeth comes from a family of pastors, including his grandfather, father, and aunts. He describes recognizing God’s call to ministry from a young age, even through a difficult upbringing. He was anointed as a pastor on October 27, 2013. Following his pastoral anointing, he worked hand in hand with several pastors in the city. ONE1SIX Church held its first service on April 12, 2026.
In his testimony, Jobeth recalls a defining moment while listening to a sermon: he heard God ask, “What have you done with the church I asked you to build?” Jobeth identifies that encounter as the birth of ONE1SIX—the day he heard “What have you done?” and was called to respond faithfully to what God had entrusted to him.
WHY ONE1SIX?
One God. One cross. For the imperfect.
God is perfect; we are not. Christ gave Himself for sinners, and His grace is the foundation of our hope. ONE1SIX is a church for the one—a family where imperfect people can encounter Jesus and grow as His disciples.
The shepherd who seeks the one lost sheep helps express our heart: reach the person who is missing, love them, and welcome them into the family.
Luke 15:4–7Our prayer is to raise unashamed disciples who live for God’s Kingdom and His glory. To Him alone be all the glory.
